Hyperdrive 2026 Photo Contest Rules
Organized by Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region
1. Eligibility
The contest is open to all residents of Alberta and British Columbia, including amateur and professional photographers.
Please note: The prize winner must be 18 years of age or older to attend the Hyperdrive Women in Business Summit event.
2. Theme
Photographs must showcase the beauty, community, or spirit of the Grande Prairie region. Submissions may include landscapes, events, people, or businesses that represent the area.
3. Submission Guidelines
Each participant may submit up to three (3) photos. Photos must be in high-resolution digital format (JPG or PNG) and submitted via email or the designated upload link. Each submission must include a completed Photography Release Form.
4. Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged on:
- Originality and creativity
- Composition and visual impact
- Relevance to the theme
- How well they capture the essence of the Grande Prairie region
A judging panel selected by Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region will determine the winners.
5. Prizes
The winning photographer will receive two (2) tickets to the Hyperdrive Women in Business Summit in Grande Prairie.
- Tickets have no cash value and are non-transferable.
- The winner and guest must be 18 years of age or older to attend the event.
- Travel and accommodation are not included.
Details of the winning entry will be announced on Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region and Hyperdrive Women in Business Summit social media channels.
6. Deadline
All entries must be received by December 1, 2025
Late submissions will not be eligible for a prize.
7. Notification
Winners will be notified by email and announced publicly on Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region and Hyperdrive Women in Business Summit online platforms.
8. Usage Rights
By submitting an entry, participants agree that their photos may be used by Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region and the Hyperdrive Women in Business Summit for marketing and promotional purposes, as described in the release form.
